Naval Station Mayport, Mayport, FL 4-1-2012

Arrived about Noon to Naval Station Mayport, Mayport, FL....If you are looking for it on a map, it's located on the coast in the Jacksonville, FL area....What a beautiful place to rest and relax for 2 weeks...We were here our 1st year out Full-timing in the early part of 2005...We've always wanted to come back, but didn't get the chance until this year.  They have done some improvements, but much is the same...except this time we couldn't get one of those "prime" front row, pull-thru sites facing the river and the jetties....but, 2nd row back-ins are bad either...just have to look between the RVs to see the water.

We got set up and settled in...talked with the neighbors and chatted with the staff, but mostly, sat at the picnic table and enjoyed the view.
I' m going to do this as a daily blog for our stay here cause I've already taken a bunch of photos and we are doing different things each day.....so, stay tuned...
