We left New Mexico in Mid-Nov. stopping to visit our last Post before Dock/Ernie retired from the Army in 1992....I've somehow misplaced those photos....will post them later if I find them....Oh, well, to continue....
We stayed in a nice RV Park in Ft. Stockton, TX for 1 night...
Then it was onto Fredericksburg, TX for 2 weeks....Fredericksburg was settled by Germans so everything has an "Old World" feel....
And meeting up with more of our WomenRVer friends..
Karen and me
Chris and me
We spent Thanksgiving Day with my Nephew, Rick, who's a Capt. in the Army at Ft. Hood, and his wife, Lisa.
We celebrated our 36th wedding anniversary while in TX, too...
Yummmm....yummmmmm....it was good....lol
Then on Dec. 1st we move onto Nibletts Bluff Campground near Vinton, LA where we enjoyed a 2 day stay.... And met up with another WomenRVer friend, Vickie and her hubby, Ronnie....We talked and talked until almost dark....then the 4 of us went to a casino in Lake Charles, LA for supper of Seafood at the Buffet there....more good eats...
They came over to the campground the next day for snacks and more visiting...
Sad to say we had to leave the next day, but do know we'll come back to visit again....It was such a nice time....
Okay, next stop will be of Biloxi, MS and Falling Waters State Park, FL....then onto GA....
