We left Ellie and Gene's the end of August heading to Las Vegas.
Our first over-night was in Evanston, WY.... Nothing to mark here other than we were tired. So had dinner and hit the sack for the night....
The next night we stayed in Cedar City, UT....I can't remember the RV Park, but we had a nice site...
And Ernie showed that he has an "eye" for picture taking....
Then it was onto Ellis AFB and Las Vegas for 10 days..
Then it was time to head South then East....After driving thru the Eastern part of California, we landed at the small AFB in Gila Bend, AZ Nothing but desert, but we did enjoy the beautiful sunset.
The next morning we headed for New Mexico.....and here we are for a month....
So, now we're all caught up....Stay tune for the next installment....
Ellie got the four of us a cottage at Jackson Lake Lodge for the night after our tour of Yellowstone, which happens to have the most amazing view of the Grand Tetons...
We also met up with my Women RVer friends who just happen to stop to see Yellowstone on their way back from Alaska....After catching up with them at a near by campground, introducing them to Ellie & Gene, and making a dinner date for that evening at the lodge...we went and got ourselves settled for the night....
Met the Gals for cocktails before dinner on the lovely patio at the lodge and of course, the cameras came out for photos...

We had a wonder time with everyone.....saying good night and safe travels to all, we headed to bed...
Well, it's been almost a month since my last post...It's not from the lack of things to write about, it's because we've been doing alot...So let me try to bring things up to date....
We finished up our stay with my sister, Ellie, and her family at the end of August. But before we left, Ellie and Gene took us on a 2 day tour of Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons....It was so nice to have our own private tour guides....They showed us some wondrous sights at Yellowstone National Park.
Waterfalls....
Historical sights...
Vistas..
And lots of wildlife...
And of course, nature's boiling mud and very hot , hot springs..
After a grand day of seeing Nature's Wonders, we were ready for some food, drink, and a good night's sleep....Which I will write about in my next post....Ernie & I will come back to Yellowstone to see more one of these day...
