A Cold Night In Georgia

Well, it does get cold in GA....not as cold as in PA, but it does get cold.   Last night and tonight the temps. are to dip down in the low 20s with a wind chill of about 17F....So, Dock has shut the water off from the hookup again tonight as last night and we are really roughing it....really!!!....Usually, we would turn on the fresh water tank water pump when we do this, but alas, upon doing this last night we discovered that the water pump in our 6 mo. old Open Range 5th Wheel would not shut off when we turn the water on and the water was little or none.....with a little research on the Open Range Forum, it's either a valve or a leak in the pressure hose....so Dock called Open Range today to find out where the pump is located, and the procedure on getting it fixed by a local repair guy with Open Range paying for warranty work as we are about 4 hours away from the nearest Open Range dealer/service center....No problem with this...thank goodness!!

Anyways, we are all bundled up with the little heater and the heat pump/furnace going.  No the electric blanket isn't on the bed,but there's 2 blankets and a comforter.....lol...poor Spinner, Dock thinks he's cold out on the sofa....so the following photos show what Dock did to Spinner last night to keep him warm...

Poor Puppy...he's so patient with his Daddy-dog...lol

I got tomorrow and Thursday off from work....so am going to catch up with the laundry, my crocheting, and going out to lunch with my hubby, then maybe an afternoon nap....By the way, I've kept my part of the deal to earn enough to pay for 2 new tires for the truck and puppy treats for Spinner....so I plan to quit at the end of this month.  Enjoy being just the better half of the Camp Hosting couple and visiting with the folks here.  We plan to move to the Darian, GA area the 1st of March to hang out with friends there, then possibly going to Key West, FL for a few days before slowly heading back to PA, arriving there around the end of April -the 1st of May....

All righty, then....guess that's all for tonight....

  1. Sorry you are cold there. It isn't bad here in San Antonio right now, 50 degrees at 10:00PM. I know I like my winter days about 75 degrees so I keep hoping the Canadian fronts stay in Canada.
